“A montage of myth and wonder is often the structure for a great tale. Stories we find inherent in our world, our lives, are deeply mythical and yet under the eyes of modern scrutiny, the microscope of science and technology, they could possibly crumble. It is with great honour that we designed the V&A’s tree for the Christmas season 2007 and we hope that visitors are filled with a belief in beauty and compassion.”
